Born to Groove

Born to Groove

I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter, dancing through the fire

'Cause I am a champion and you're gonna hear me roar

Louder, louder than a lion

'Cause I am a champion and you're gonna hear me roar!

                                                                -Katy Perry, Roar

It is no secret that finding a good playlist to work out to in the gym makes any workout routine a whole lot more fun. But what makes for a good workout playlist? Well there’s no sureshot formula and each of us have our own ideas about what makes for a good set of tracks to get the sweat pumping in the gym, but one factor that we think would find universal agreement is the beat. A good thumping number can really get the juices flowing and have you joyfully pushing the extra mile when you reach your  “My-legs-are-threatening-to-sever-themselves-from-the-rest-of-my-body-aaaaahhhhh-it hurts-so-effin’-much-I’ve got-to-hit-the-’STOP-button-NOW” situations.

So we took on a task of asking our friends on Twitter what their favorite numbers that really got them grooving at the gym. And the delightful folks on Twitter were more than forthcoming with their suggestions. We’ve collated a workout playlist based on their suggestions. We hope you like it! So here it goes:

     1) “Money Talks” - AC/DC (Suggested by Icecream Man a.k.a @ktens)
